What to Do Instead: Entertainment Without WiFi
Jet2 routes typically run 2–5 hours — short enough to be completely comfortable without connectivity. The key is preparation: download a film on Netflix or Disney+ before you leave home, save music playlists offline on Spotify or Apple Music, download Google Maps for your destination in advance, and load your boarding pass into the Jet2 app offline. A fully charged power bank is worth packing; Jet2 economy seats generally have no USB ports.

How Jet2 WiFi Compares
Both carriers offer no meaningful WiFi. Ryanair has a limited trial; Jet2 has no programme at all. Choice between them should be based on price and schedule.
BA offers WiFi on long-haul and some short-haul routes, but fares are typically significantly higher. Different market segments.
TUI is in a similar position to Jet2 — leisure charter carrier with no consistent WiFi offering on short-haul package routes.
Key Thing to Know
Jet2 is completely transparent about having no WiFi. Most routes are leisure short-hauls under 5 hours — many passengers genuinely don't miss it.
