Dubai Fountains

The Dubai fountains are definitely a must see, but the best thing about them is that they’re free! Don’t be fooled in thinking they’ll be rubbish because they’re free: they’re absolutely amazing! If you’ve been to Las Vegas, you could compare these fountains to the Bellagio fountains. However, these fountains are bigger and better. At night there’s a light show, so make sure you go at night time. Nearby, you’ll find a place called the Mango tree which is a fabulous place to have something to eat.

Dubai Mall

This mall is probably one of the best malls in the whole world, so if you enjoy shopping they you absolutely must visit here. I’d make sure you have plenty of spending money though, because you’re bound to find something that you like. I bet all of your favourite brands can be found here, as well as some that you’ll consider to be new favourites after you’ve visited. Some people visit here exclusively for the shopping experience!

Jambos Grill

If you love Swahili Cuisine, then you can’t miss the Jambos Grill Dubai. They say that they serve the best Swahili cuisine this side of Zanzibar, and it’s always full with satisfied diners. It’s delicious and served by lovely staff. Try the Bhajia- it’s my favourite! It’s reasonably priced too, so it’s a great place to feed the family.

Desert Safari

Read reviews on the company’s offering safari before you book with one. If you do, you’ll be sure to have a great time. Find out if food will be offered, what time you’ll be dropped off, and what time you’ll finish. It’s an adventure you shouldn’t miss.

The Burj Al Arab

This place is the self proclaimed ‘only 7-star hotel’. You may agree, you may not, but  it’s definitely a must see building in Dubai. It’s 321 metres high, and looks like a sail billowing in the wind. There are some great photo opportunities here too. It may be too expensive for your tastes, but I suggest you go for a drink at the Dhow and Anchor in the hotel opposite. Sitting outside on the terrace will give you a fantastic view.

The Public Parks

The parks are big and luxurious, like everything else in Dubai. It’s a great place for ball games or to have a bit of a barbecue.

Dubai is one of the best luxurious holidays you can go on, so make sure you visit the places outlined in this guide. I guarantee you’ll have a fabulous time. Are there any more places in Dubai you think are ‘must-visits’? Leave a comment to let us know!
